Phantom Blade Zero was shown at the recent PlayStation Showcase. The Samurai themed title developed by S-Game got a trailer showcasing its fast-paced combat and souls-like gameplay. However, the game is slated to release on PlayStation and PC, which many people got wondering if it will skip Xbox. However, the developers have presented their stance on the topic.
Phantom Blade’s Exclusivity Rumors Cleared by the Developers
As Spotted by Twitter user STATEnotCITY, the developers have cleared the rumors around Phantom Blade Zero’s exclusivity nature. When asked if the title is a timed exclusive or release at the same time on all platforms, the devs stated: ‘For now we don’t have any exclusivity on any platform.‘
This has led a lot of Xbox users to ask Microsoft if they’ll be working to bring the title to their platform. However, no official announcement has been made yet.
PlayStation Blog has revealed some additional information on the title including a story overview. The game takes place in a semi-open world where you play as an assassin soul. The soul gets deeply injured but a cure lets him live for another 66 days.
The game converges a bunch of techniques and powers. Chinese Kungfu, intricate machines reminiscent of steampunk, arts of the occult, and other intriguing stuff are some of them. Additionally. the title takes inspiration from the ‘breathtaking moves in Kungfu movies back in the 1990s.’
Phantom Blade Zero didn’t get a release window at the PlayStation Showcase and is currently slated for a release on PlayStation and PC.
