A PlayStation State of Play could be happening real soon. After the Xbox\Bethesda Showcase and the Nintendo Direct, PlayStation fans also wanted to know about the platform’s future. Famous industry insider Jeff Grubb has claimed that the State of Play will happen in March and will likely show off some new games for the platform.

PlayStation State of Play Will Show Off More Upcoming Games

Talking to Mike Minotti, in a recent episode of Game Mess, Grubb revealed that the State of play will occur in a month or so and will showcase more upcoming games. He also insisted the showcase wouldn’t be a massive one so keep your expectations in check.

Grubb stated:

There’s gonna be a State of Play really soon. So there’s going to be even more games announced. Now, don’t get your hopes up too high, apparently, it is going to be pretty low-key State of Play.

Interestingly, the event is going to be pretty low-key because PlayStation could be holding an exclusive event for its bigger titles. Now, what sort of games we can expect from the upcoming SoP remains a mystery for now. If heavy hitters like Marvel’s Spiderman 2, Wolverine, and others aren’t going to show up, we might see the Japanese ones which PlayStation focused on so much last time around.

Unfortunately, that’s all we have on the showcase so far. 2023 has kicked off well for gaming with titles like Hogwarts Legacy, attracting tons of fans’ attention. Xbox and Nintendo have already revealed plans for their upcoming titles and PlayStation is expected to follow suit.
