Raven is the latest character to return in Tekken 8, as revealed in the new gameplay trailer by Bandai Namco. This marks the character’s first proper appearance in the series since Tekken 6. He did appear in a flashback sequence in Tekken 7 but wasn’t a playable character in the game. Fans of the character can now rejoice as they will be able to use the special agent in Tekken 8.
Raven is an intelligence agent working for the United Nations and is skilled in Ninjutsu. His moveset indicates a more defensive playstyle which might suit some players. Raven is one of the more mysterious characters in the Tekken series, with much of his backstory unknown. He first appeared in Tekken 5 mainly on a mission to know about who was behind the King of the Iron Fist tournament.
His latest fighting style is familiar yet new and returning players definitely have a lot of experimenting to do with this returning character.
Tekken 8 Release Date
The release date for Tekken 8 hasn’t been announced by Bandai Namco yet. But, we may see a release late this year or early 2024.
