Ravenlok, the action-adventure fairytale by Cococucumber is set for release on the 4th of May. The game will be released on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Epic Games Store. The game will also be available via Xbox Games Pass. This exciting action RPG will also be the final title of Cococucumber’s Voxel Trilogy, which includes Riverbond and Echo Generations. The game was initially announced back in Summer Games Fest 2022, as part of the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase.
A trailer was released in accordance with the release date announcement for the game.
Ravenlok Gameplay and Story
In the game, players take on the role of Kira, a young girl who has moved into a new home with her family. While there, she accidentally stumbles into a new realm of magic and mystery. She takes up the mantle of Ravenlok, and begins a quest to save the fallen kingdom of Dunia and its inhabitants. Armed with a sword and shield, she must cut down the evil that infects the land. This includes the likes of weeping fungi, mechanical birds, and more. Charming locations, such as the Masked Mansion and the Dark Labyrinth, await the player, where they can learn new skills to help defeat the evil queen and restore peace to the world.
The game is also said to be fully optimized for the Xbox Series X|S, running at 60 frames per second in 4K resolution.
