Continuing with showcasing its characters, the new Redfall trailer introduces Remi to the list of playable characters. Remi is the third out of 4 playable characters in Redfall along with Jacob and Layla. As we already know each character boasts unique abilities, and the same is the case for Remi. She is a vampire-shredding warrior who loves her pet.

Remi From Redfall is a Ferocious Vampire-Shredding Warrior Who Loves Her Pet (Ahh Robot)

Remi seems like the kind of person who keeps mostly to herself. She doesn’t share much information about herself except that she was part of a group that helped evacuate people from the city when the attacks begin. She and her robotic pet friend, Bribon use great teamwork to annihilate the vampires as you can see in the trailer below:

Unlike Jacob and Layla, Remi doesn’t seem to have any specially-attained ability. Instead, she relies mostly on technology and her battle prowess to fight off against her enemies. Following is a list of all of Remi’s abilities courtesy of IGN:

  • Power 1: Command Bribon to distract nearby enemies, making himself a target and absorbing damage.
  • Power 2: Toss an explosive device that sticks to targets and surfaces. Once armed, press the action button to detonate.
  • Ultimate Ability: Create a rallying point where you and your allies are healed over time.

Remi from Redfall is going to be particularly useful in co-op mode when you and your friends need to catch a breath and regain health. She always has Bribon to help her out of difficult situations.

Redfall has been a topic of major controversy over the past few days as it won’t have 60 FPS on consoles at launch. That is going to affect the sales and will change some people’s perspective on it. However, that will be added later so if you care more about quality than performance it won’t affect you much. Redfall launches on May 2, 2023.
