Resident Evil 4 Remake The Mercenaries Will be A Free Post-Launch DLC

At the end of the latest launch trailer, Capcom announced that Resident Evil 4 Remake The Mercenaries will launch on April 7, 2023. That makes it just over 2 weeks after the launch of the base game. It will also act as a free DLC for the title. You can watch the launch trailer here:

Of course, The Mercenaries has been an essential part of the series. It was even included in the original Resident Evil 4. For those who aren’t familiar, with the mode, it’s sort of a mini-game that unlocks when you beat the game at any difficulty. You have to fight waves of enemies and kill as many as possible to get a high score. Defeating an enemy grants points, depending on the difficulty of the enemy.

Resident Evil 4 Remake is now out on all platforms. The game is surely living up to the reputation of the original. It not only keeps the base story but adds to it in all positive ways. It also has beaten all previous sale records for the franchise on Steam. You can read more about RE4 Remake here.
