Retest Yourself with Resident Evil Remake 4 The Mercenaries

Resident Evil 4 Remake has proved to be fresh of breath air for remakes. Topping in everything from performance and graphics Capcom has proved proprietary game engines can work. That now has been extended with The Mercenaries mode available for free for RE4 Remake owners. Taking inspiration from its ancestors, you’ll have to complete the main game first to unlock the mode. You can watch the trailer here:

Resident Evil 4 The Mercenaries mode is a real test of your skills. It puts you in different locations of the game against hordes of enemies in a timed mode. Only the village portion will be available at first with limited weapons and you’ll have to fight, earning high scores on your way. Later, new areas and characters will be unlocked.

The clock will be ticking down during your fight, and you can increase your time using melee attacks and killing enemies. There will also be green time orbs which you can collect to increase the time. A new Mayhem mode has been included too, that grants you boosted powers, strength, and other stats for the characters you play as. Like the main game, The Mercenaries is also a reimaging of the original.
