Steam Deck Official Site Hints at The Last of Us Part 1 From Day 1

While we already knew that The Last of Us Part 1 would be Steam Deck compatible thanks to Neil Druckmann. But now, the latest trailer on Steam Deck’s official website showcases a clip from the game hinting it might be verified from day 1. The game of course will release on March 28, 2023.

While Naughty Dog hasn’t revealed it officially, we know the title is coming. So until there’s an official word about the day 1 compatibility, take this with a grain of salt. It will also be interesting to see how the developers optimize the title considering the system requirements are not that light.

However, even if it doesn’t get verified on the first day, it’s remarkable how Steam Deck is becoming such an excellent handheld overall. Other brands have started to enter the market too like the Ayaneo, but what the Deck offers at its price is still unmatched. We hope to hear an official statement from Naughty Dog or Valve soon, till then stay tuned.
