We could be hearing new details on the Silent Hill 2 Remake real soon. Ever since the title was officially revealed, fans have been anticipating a release date. However, the latest update to the game’s SteamDB page suggests we might be getting some information sooner than expected.
Silent Hill 2 Remake SteamDB Page Suggests New Information Coming Soon
Some new information about the game’s Steam achievements has been added to the DB listing. Now, while you can’t open the achievements page, it generally means the game’s development has ended or is near to end. This hints that we might be hearing something new about Silent Hill 2 Remake in the near future.
What we really want to know is the release date. And if the listing has added achievements it means we could expect an official update on the game soon. We could also be getting a Silent Hill Transmission to announce the release date. But this is just speculation for now as neither the Bloober team nor Konami has made anything official.
Silent Hill 2 is regarded as the epitome of horror games by most critics and fans. So, undoubtedly the remake is something we super hyped for since its announcement in October 2022. The only official info we have so far is that it will have a 12-month exclusivity for PC and PS5 at launch.
