Skull and Bones is Getting a Closed Beta on PC

Ubisoft has revealed that Skull and Bones is finally getting a closed beta. The closed beta will only be available via invitation and on PC only through Ubisoft Connect. Skull and Bones has seen a really hard time, facing several blockades and delays but a beta will finally be playable in a few days.

Set Sails in Skull and Bones With The Closed Beta Starting Soon

You can signup for the Skull and Bones closed beta here and the pre-load will be available from August 22nd. The beta begins on August 25th and ends on August 28th. The participants will also be able to invite 2 more friends to join the beta, however, all of them must have a registered Ubisoft Connect account.

For the Closed Beta, you will be able to play and experience main campaign contracts up until the Exterminate the Rat contract. You will also be able to play up to a certain tier called Buccaneer Infamy Tier, which can be obtained by doing various contracts. You will be given a new ship and equipment via in-game mail when you reach the tier.

In addition, there will be certain rewards for beta testers as well that can be used when the game launches. Moreover, if you want to experience the title at 1080p 60 FPS a minimum of Nvidia Geforce RTX 2070 (8GB) or AMD Radeon RX5700XT (8GB) is required coupled with at least an i7-8700k or Ryzen 5 3600, with 65GB of space (and dual-channel 8GB RAM).
