Solar Ash, a 3D action-platformer by Annapurna Interactive is releasing on Xbox Game Pass and Nintendo Switch. Originally released in 2021, the title opened to wonderful reviews from critics and fans alike. Now it is being ported to the game pass and Switch.

Solar Ash Xbox Game Pass and Switch Port Arrives on September 14th

Previously, it was only present on PlayStation and PC, but now the platforms have been expanded with the Game Pass and Switch ports. It arrives on September 14th, 2023. You can watch the trailer here:

The title boasts some stunning visuals and wonderful landscapes ranging from vast water shelves, and sunken cities to dangerous lava zones and more. According to the official description:

Players assume the role of Rei, a Voidrunner who nimbly traverses through these dangerous biomes in an effort to save her planet from falling prey to the Ultravoid’s path of eternal hunger. While traveling through the void, players will help Rei learn the truth about the beasts that roam this strange land and uncover the mystery of the Starseed and Echo.

Solar Ash has been developed by Heart Machine, the devs behind the award-winning Hyper Light Drifter. You’ll also find a lot of similarities between both titles, but there is no connection whatsoever as they are both separate IPs. In our review, we gave the title a solid 9/10.
