The release date of Sonic Frontiers may have been leaked according to Twitter user @PlaystationSize. The date has seemingly been leaked via the Playstation Database according to them. The game is set for release on November 15, 2022, according to the database. There is also the probability of the date being a placeholder but there’s no harm in speculating.

Sonic Frontiers is an upcoming open-world game. It is being developed by the Sonic Team and is to be published by Sega. The game will give players the ability to roam the vast Starfall Islands, which contain various biomes freely as Sonic. Sonic Frontiers is the first in the long line of Sonic games to have an open world.
The news was greatly received by fans and critics. The design of the world was compared to that of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The world contains ancient ruins, deep forests, waterfalls, and deserts all open for the players to freely explore. The game had been set for release in late 2022 on all the platforms. With that, November 15 sounds like a really acceptable date as it is near the holidays. Most of the previous Sonic games were out during November with the exception of Mania and Lost World. There is also the chance of the date being just a placeholder.
