In a recent post on the official Playstation Blog, Sony has revealed the games lineup of the upcoming Playstation Plus service. The service will be launching first in Asia on May 23 and in other areas in June. The list is composed of games from all eras that are downloadable with the exception of PS3 games that will be available only for streaming.

@Wario64 posted the whole catalog on Twitter for a proper look at all the games.

All New Playstation Plus Service: Exciting Times For Playstation Fans

Sony had announced earlier this year the all-new PlayStation Plus service. This service was previously known as Project Spartacus and had created massive hype among the gaming community. Sony is initially planning to launch this new Playstation Plus service in Asia, followed by North America, Europe, and other regions. The plan is to have the service in almost every region by the first half of 2022.

There will be three tiers of the service namely: PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium. PlayStation Plus Essential will have the same benefits as the original PlayStation Plus subscription. The Extra tier is basically the original Playstation Plus and Now combined. That means players will have access to a catalog of more than 400+ PS4 and PS5 games. Moreover, the Premium tier includes all benefits of the Essential and Extra tier and provides a catalog of 340 games from the PS1, PS2, PS3, and PSP eras.

The catalog revealed today has a solid lineup of fan-favorite and critically acclaimed games. It also has great classics from all the Playstation eras as well. But many users and fans are disappointed that no PS3-era game will be downloadable. We can only hope Sony manages to find a way to put games of that console era as downloadable too.
