As Starfield’s release draws closer more information about the game is starting to emerge. In the latest news, Starfield will be an Xbox Play Anywhere title, making it an excellent title for players who love to play on the go on different devices. This will be especially great for gamers who use handheld mini PCs like the Steam Deck (If it’ll be compatible) and ROG Ally.

Starfield’s Xbox Play Anywhere Feature is a Step in The Right Direction

The new development has come via the official Starfield listing on Microsoft’s site. Xbox is doing the right thing by making Starfield Xbox Play Anywhere because they want their flagship title to be played as much as possible. Starfield is Xbox’s biggest exclusive for the year and only feels right to indulge the gamers in it.

For those who aren’t aware of the Xbox Play Anywhere feature, it lets you game on all platforms the title is available on. It means that you’ll be able to make cross-platform saves between your linked PC and Xbox and continue your game from where you left off. It should be noted that you must own the game digitally on both platforms to take advantage of this feature.

But just as a heads-up, Bethesda hasn’t confirmed the tag yet. The listing seems to have been updated quite recently, and maybe the developers will confirm it eventually. Starfield is set to launch on September 6, 2023, for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Game Pass.
