The open beta for Street Fighter 6 has recently been announced by Capcom. The dates are set for later this May from the 19th to the 21st. During this time, players can experience a good chunk of the game before its release on June 2. Capcom decided to announce an open beta due to fan feedback during the closed beta in December of last year. A trailer was also accompanied by the announcement.

Players who want to participate in the open beta will need to register for a CAPCOM ID and link the account of their preferred platform. These include PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The playable characters for the Street Fighter 6 open beta include Luke, Ryu, Chun-Li, Ken, Jamie, Kimberly, Guile, and Juri. The stages that will be available to play in are Metro City Downtown, Genbu Temple, Carrier Byron Taylor, Training Room, Tian Hong Yuan, and The Macho Ring.
Playable content for the Street Fighter 6 open beta includes the ability to create your own character and take part in a variety of game modes. The game modes included in the open beta are Ranked Matches, Casual Matches, Battle Hub Matches, Open Tournaments, Training Mode, Hub Goods Shop, Extreme Battles (Updates daily), Game Center (Updates daily), Challenges (Updates daily), DJ Booth and Photo Spot. Moreover, features like cross-platform play will also be available during the beta period.
