Bandai Namco has revealed the release date for the upcoming Sword Art Online Last Recollection. 2023 marks the 10th year anniversary of Sword Art Online and puts you on a brand new adventure with Kirito and friends as they embark on the journey to save the world. The game explores what would have happened if Kirito, Eugeo, and others hadn’t perished in The War of The Underworld.

Sword Art Online Last Recollection Offers An Alternate Story To The Original Anime

The title offers a brand new alternate story to the original. In the Anime, the protagonist, Kirito, Eugeo, and the rest of their allies met a fatal end and had to suffer in the Battle of The Underworld. According to the press release, In the Last Recollection, you have to fight to avoid the original fate for a brighter future and better world. A trailer has also been revealed to announce that the title will release on October 6, 2023.
