A new trailer for Tales of Symphonia Remastered was released by Bandai Namco recently and showed various gameplay features players will have to use in the game. The trailer went on to show the vast lands of the game, each distinct from another. In addition to that, important gameplay features like combat, crafting, and the party management system also take center stage here too.
Tales of Symphonia Remastered Gameplay Features
In Tales of Symphonia, players will have to battle different kinds of foes across the lands to progress. As such, combat is a crucial part of the game, and choosing the best attacks is essential. These can help players win battles or avoid death for a little longer. Unison attacks are also important here, as these are essentially team attacks that can inflict a lot of damage. A Unison attack can be used when the Unison Gauge is filled. This can be filled when the party members do damage to enemies.
Party members are also vulnerable to enemy attacks, and preparing them for battles is also necessary. The party management system will help equip the party members for battle. Different weapons and armor can be equipped and various accessories that can boost stats. Crafting is also discussed extensively in the trailer. Various food items can be crafted, and consuming them will restore the HP and TP.
Tales of Symphonia follows Lloyd Irving and his friends in their quests to save their world, Sylvarant. But, on their journey, they find that saving Sylvarant puts a parallel world, Tethe’alla, in danger. Lloyd and his friends must find a way to save both worlds and make sure the evil organization Cruxis does not get the upper hand. The original game was released back in 2003 on the Nintendo GameCube, with the PS2, PS3, and PC versions getting ported later.
Tales of Symphonia Remastered Release Date
The Remastered version will release on 17th February 2023 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. This version will also be compatible with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S as well.
