Ubisoft has announced the next game of The Crew series titled The Crew Motorfest. The game will take place in the state of Hawaii. Specifically, Motorfest will take place on the island of O’ahu, part of the Hawaiian archipelago. In addition to that, the island consists of the city of Honolulu which players will be free to explore with hundreds of iconic vehicles.
”Get ready to race through the city streets of Honolulu, go down the ashy volcano slopes, adventure deep in the lush rainforest, drift along the curvy mountain roads, or just chill down on the sunny beach.” says Ubisoft regarding Motorfest.
A teaser trailer was revealed to accompany the announcement that showed in-engine 4K footage.
According to Ubisoft, The Crew Motorfest will provide the best open-world action driving experience in the series. The previous two games in the series featured a scaled-down version of the United States for players to explore. As such, The Crew Motorfest will be the first in the series to feature a single state instead of the whole USA.
The Crew Motorfest will feature tailor-made races, themed events, and other types of challenges according to Ubisoft. Moreover, players are now able to join the Insider Program for the game for a closed test. As with the previous entries in the series, the game will be developed by Ubisoft Ivory Tower.
