Last year, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition launched on almost all major platforms except the Nintendo Switch. There were reports that Bethesda would potentially port the game to the Switch. The port seems to be happening really soon. Switch already got a Vanilla Skyrim port that was quite well-received.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition coming to Nintendo Switch?
The Elder Scrolls V game has mixed reviews on Steam and is generally not classified as high as the rest of the series. Nonetheless, the prospect of finally having a new Elder Scrolls ported on the Switch will no doubt interest the fans of the series who generally liked the older Skyrim port.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition has been rated by PEGI, which rates games in the UK. The rating generally means that the game is near to launch and if we join all the dots everything hints at a Nintendo Direct in the near future.
Is a Nintendo Direct Happening Soon?
It seems that indeed a Nintendo Direct is scheduled for this month. Earlier today, prominent leaker the Snitch on his discord server leaked another game coming to the Switch soon. He dropped the leak in the form of coded pictures that translate to It Takes Two.
A couple of days ago, game journalist, Jeff Grubb also predicted that a Nintendo Direct seems to be planned for September 2022. So, Nintendo has two ports for the Switch, and to announce them officially they’ll have to arrange a Direct event soon.
But of course, take this information with a grain of salt as nothing has been officially announced by Nintendo. If indeed a Nintendo Direct is happening anytime soon we are expecting that it will be announced sooner or later.
