Is Elder Scrolls VI Platform Exclusive?
Following the creation of Bethesda’s latest game, Starfield, which is confirmed to be an Xbox and Microsoft exclusive. The head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, confirmed in a recent interview with GQ that the TES VI would follow Starfield regarding the available platforms. “It is not about punishing other platforms like I fundamentally believe all of the platforms can continue to grow. But in order to be on Xbox, I want us to be able to bring the full complete package of what we have. And that would be true when I think about Elder Scrolls VI. That would be true when I think about any of our franchises,” Spencer says.
Todd Howard, one of the designers from Bethesda, gave his thoughts in an interview with GamesIndustry.biz. “It is hard to imagine that the next installment of The Elder Scrolls series would be platform exclusive,” Howard said.
