The Last Of Us 2 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla release dates have recently been posted by Naughty Dog and Ubisoft. The two beautiful games can now be found on platforms such as PS Store and UPlay for pre-order. For gamers that have been waiting for months to find out more about them, here are some important details about The Last Of Us 2 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
The Last Of Us 2 release date, mechanics and story
Delayed twice by Naughty Dog from February to May and then from May to June, the zombie-infested world will present itself to us on June 19. The current situation caused by the COVID-19 virus made the producers of the game post-pone the launch date for players all around the world. We now have an exact date when it will be shipped so that we can enjoy the new hearth wrenching adventures of Ellie and Joel.
In the first version of the game, we were presented to Joel, a hardened smuggler who survived a devastating infection. The cordyceps infection took over sixty percent of the population leaving the others to defend themselves with what they could find. When he is introduced to Ellie, a small kid, who relies on her wit and hardness to survive, he needs to take her to a safe location. From then on, they cross America looking for the answers for the whole humankind.
In The Last Of Us Part 2, Ellie is nineteen years old, looking to be useful to the community she is in. During the trailer, we are introduced to her now-girlfriend, Dina, which goes on patrols with her. At the same time, we found out that Joel is still alive and comes to protect. From here on, their encounters with infected and bandits are the only things satisfying our curiosity. Everything else is left to the imagination.
Naughty Dog improved the mechanics of the first game, creating an even more exciting gameplay. You can now still craft improvised weapons, steal them from enemies or sneak past them. Now, you can also crawl to sneak past them, climb over buildings, and have a wider range of weapons used to bash or cut them with.
The game comes with five variants that you can purchase: Standard Edition, Standard Plus Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, Collectors Edition, and Special Edition. You can head on to the PS Store and pre-order The Last of Us 2 now.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla reveal, trailer and mechanics
After eight hours of waiting for a glimpse of the new game, Ubisoft revealed in a stream the thematic and context of the game. The next day, they released the trailer for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, an action RPG where the protagonist is a Viking. The trailer revealed that the Brotherhood will take on the Anglo-Saxons, plundering their villages and starting larger scale battles.
Set to be released in the 2020 holiday, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is following a beautiful game that has reinstated the series in a good name. Now, Ubisoft is promising bigger battles, improved gameplay, and diverse weapons to slay your enemies. You will be able to grow your tribe and lead them to a better future using Eivor. As was the case for Oddisey, you will be able to choose between a male and a female protagonist. Building on the mechanics of the previous game, you will be able to set sail in the Nordic waters, plundering the villages from the Norwegian and English coasts in the ninth century. And at the same time, you can witness never-before-seen brutal fighting scenes while fighting to establish your new power.
In the trailer we are presented with the tribe, fighting for its survival. They are given war as a result of their actions and now they need to defend their own kind. The blood-infused scenes that follow are a testament to the new features in the game. Vikings fighting Anglo-Saxons leave on the battlefield cold bodies. When Eivor is almost defeated, we are introduced to the sneaky hidden blade, cementing his place as an assassin.
The game will be available for Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, Playstation 4, and Google Stadia, and will most likely be available for the Xbox Series X and Playstation 5. Make sure to grab one of the four editions: Standard, Gold, Ultimate, and Collectors. Go to the Ubisoft Store now and pre-order it.
