The Last of Us is one of the most prominent names among gaming franchises. With the title considered to be the pinnacle of the story-telling genre, it was only available for PlayStation for a long while. Naughty Dog later announced that a PC port will release soon. Originally dated March 3, The Last of Us Part 1 PC version has now been delayed by a few weeks.

Naughty Dog in a recent statement has announced that TLOU Part 1 PC will now release on March 28, 2023, instead of March 3. The developers stated that the delay was necessary to release the best version of the game at the launch.

It seems that most fans aren’t bothered by the delay as much, as it is just a few more days of wait. And honestly, it’s totally fine to take a bit of time if the studio reckons the optimization isn’t that great. We saw a similar trend with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor recently where the studio also claimed they needed to add some enhancements before the release.

Owing to the massive success of HBO’s The Last of Us TV adaptation the hype for the PC version is massive. However, many fans are still asking where news on TLOU multiplayer presumably called Factions is. We hope Naughty Dog soon drops a statement to notify the fans’ concerns.
