Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have just launched a new trailer for their upcoming title, Fate/Samurai Remnant. The action RPG continues the series’ epic Holy Grail War in Edo Period Japan as players control young samurai Miyamoto Iori alongside his Servant Saber.

Fate/Samurai Remnant Drops a New Intense Trailer

The gameplay packs a punch with epic combat scenes and fun mechanics. You will play as Lori, accompanied by Saber as you explore Edo and and experience a variety of activities. Edo is divided into several districts and players can move from one to another using the world map. You can watch the trailer here:

In Fate/Samurai Remnant combat, players have three different gauges to watch out for if they want to triumph over even the most formidable opponents: the ‘Affinity Gauge’, the ‘Substitution Gauge’, and the ‘Hidden Sword Gauge’. Each Gauge gives access to certain combat abilities. Saber also has a ‘Memento Ring’ that can fill up and unlock new skills in Saber’s tree.

Fate/Samurai Remnant is currently in development for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It will be available from September 29th, 2023, and is currently up for pre-orders. You can read more about the title here.
