Bethesda’s boss Todd Howard in an interview with Famitsu has confirmed that there will be a Starfield DLC. Microsft’s flagship title only released a few days ago and has been generally well-reviewed by gamers. But if you want an expansion for the title, it is planned, but we don’t when it will arrive.
Starfield DLC Release Date is a Secret
Howard stated that a Starfield DLC is planned, but the release date is a secret. But even if the DLC doesn’t release any time soon we don’t think that’s going to be a problem. That’s mostly because of the scope of the game. The map is so huge that you can get lost in space and discover a new area almost every time. So, there is plenty of replayability.
However, if we do consider the previous Bethesda record, they have a history of releasing DLCs after almost a year of release. This was the case with TES: Skyrim and with Fallout 76. So, the Starfield DLC might also come as soon as next year. But of course, this is just speculation.
Another thing Howard mentions is the mod support according. He stated:
With mod, you will be able to do almost anything, just like in our previous works. Mod support will be available next year, and we love it too, so we’ll do it in a big way.
Starfield is now out on Xbox Series X|S and PC. It is undoubtedly one of Microsoft’s best launches in years, and we are thoroughly enjoying the space adventure.
