Crash Bandicoot 4

The first Crash Bandicoot game dates back to 1996 by Naughty Dog. The casual nature of the game with its goofy protagonist Crash attracted a huge number of gamers. It gradually expanded into the classic franchise as it is now.

The last couple of entries in the franchise include Crash 4 and Crash Team Racing, both of which were well-received by the fans. There were already rumors of a new multiplayer game called Wumpa League to be in development. But now it seems like there are 2 Crash games in development.

Two New Crash Bandicoot Games

According to a leaker on Twitter, TheRealInsider, who’s had a great track record for leaks has stated that 2 Crash games are in development. Someone mentioned the insider on Twitter to talk about Wumpa League to which he replied with this:

What could the New Crash Games be?

Crash Bandicoot: Wumpa League

Despite there reportedly being 2 games, we already know one of them is the Wumpa League which leaked months ago. Based on a roadmap that leaked last year, Wumpa League was planned for last year, though it got delayed indefinitely. So, for the general public, it’s still a secret as there was no official announcement either.

But based on the leaked information the game seemed like a multiplayer shooting game that could even be a Battle Royale of sorts. While there were rumors that the game was shelved, recently leaked artwork hinted that the game lives.

Crash 5

Although, there is no solid information on this but the other alleged game in Crash 5. It also kind of makes sense as Crash 4 did quite well too. If we take a rough guess it is also going to be developed by Toys for Bob. They’ve done a great job with the last one and remasters of Spyro games making them a natural choice.

According to a 4chan leak, the game is titled ‘Project Globe‘. It will reportedly retain the gameplay elements of Crash 4 and integrate new characters, artwork, and overall environment. And we aren’t complaining because Crash 4 was actually really good.

That is all the information we have right now. We can’t really guess the release frame for either of the titles. But considering Crash Wumpa League was supposed to be out last year it might release next year finally. As for Crash 5, there is literally no information. We will be sure to keep an eye out for new stuff so stay tuned for that.
