Ubisoft‘s Game Subscription service Ubisoft+ is on its way to Xbox Game Pass very soon. They announced it on Twitter saying we can expect more news on the collaboration very soon. Until then Rainbow Six Extraction can be played for free on Launch Day on Xbox and PC Game Pass. It also has to be stated that Ubisoft+ and Game Pass are separate subscriptions.
Ubisoft and Xbox Game Pass
Ubisoft has hundreds of its new titles on its subscription service which includes all the latest releases and their DLCs. This would give die-hard fans of Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry to play all the games of those series easily. As a result, joining with Xbox Game Pass offers players a great opportunity to try out the vast amount of Ubisoft games.
Rainbow Six Extraction which will release on January 20, will be a day one addition to the Game Pass service on Xbox and PC. Rainbow Six Siege is already available for PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
This is great news for fans of the Rainbow Six series as they can play both Siege and Extraction easily without any hassle. Chris Early, Ubisoft’s Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development has said, “By making Rainbow Six Extraction available to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass members on the day and date of its launch via Xbox Game Pass, we’re demonstrating that we believe in the value and choice that game subscriptions offer to players”.
More details of the collaboration can be found here.
