Xbox has recently unveiled its new PC Game Pass referral program for subscribers to try out. The program allows Game Pass subscribers to invite up to five of their friends to try out the new service. The referral trial period is for 14 days. The trial period will let the referred subscribers enjoy all the benefits of the Game Pass service including access to EA Play and newer releases.
Xbox Wire has said that only new subscribers to Game Pass will be available to redeem the free trial offer. As such, those who were previously Game Pass subscribers are not eligible for this service.
The New Game Pass Referral Program
The new referral program comes after Xbox silently removed the $1 Game Pass trial in March for users. So, this new program is the only way to try out the subscription service. Players will be able to try out a bunch of games including the newly released Redfall, which was poorly received by fans and critics. In addition to that, players can also try out the highly anticipated Starfield on the service when it releases this September. There are also notable Xbox exclusives including Forza Horizon 5, Sea of Thieves, and Gears 5.
