The return of Zombies mode to Modern Warfare 3 has been announced in the most peculiar of ways. Amongst one of the most popular modes in the CoD franchise, it was skipped with Modern Warfare 2. But it seems that it that it’s making a comeback with MW3, and you have to text Zombies on a specific number to get the audio teaser.

An Audio Teaser Reveals the Comeback of Zombies in Modern Warfare 3

If you text the number ‘+1 (202) 918-3022’ with ‘Zombies’, you’ll receive an audio message. Before you drop a text, note that the number is US based. Once you text you’ll receive the audio which sounds like zombies screeching, indicating the mode in the upcoming CoD game. You can also listen to the audio here.

The Zombies mode was noticeably missing from Modern Warfare 2. The last time we saw the mode was in Vanguard in 2021. However, it was not up to the standards of the earlier games and it did receive backlash for that. But, the mode was really good in Cold War, so we hope the developers have tried to replicate that with Modern Warfare 3.

It was revealed earlier this week that around 7 studios have been involved in the development. If we talk from past experiences, this is usually a recipe for disaster. However, before jumping to any conclusions it’s better to wait for the title with positive expectations. MW3 releases on PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on November 10, 2023.
