If you’re here, you probably want to know what the best landing spots in Apex Legends are this season, right? Wonderful, you’ve come to the right place then; as today we’ll be taking a look at what are the best places to land in Apex legends.
With every season comes a new “best place”, that doesn’t mean that we should get sloppy however. Learning the maps is a quintessential skill for any Apex player to have, now if only there existed an article about the best Apex Legends maps, hmmm.
The Current Map Rotation in Season 16
In Season 16, the following maps are in rotation: Storm Point, World’s Edge, and Broken Moon. Since those are the only viable maps, we’ll be taking a look solely at those three.
Oh, and don’t worry. This information is relevant regardless of what platform you’re playing on. That’s the beauty of Apex Legends being cross platform, no matter what you prefer, everyone has the opportunity to enjoy it!
The Best Landing Spots on Broken Moon
Discover the optimal landing locations on Broken Moon, where strategic positioning and resource availability converge for an unparalleled advantage.
The Divide
The Divide is where Mirage has landed his Mirage a Troise this season, and you know what that means. If Mirage is having a threesome, then everyone is invited! … Everyone who is Mirage that is.
No, but seriously, The Divide is currently one of the best spots to land in Apex Legends, as you’re almost guaranteed a few epic items.
Not only do you have the entirety of Mirage a Troise to loot clean, but you also have the buildings and the containers of the Divide itself. Get to lootin`, we don’t have all day!
Terraformer
Right next door to the Divide is the Terraformer, coincidentally, another one of the best spots to land in Apex, as it has tons of containers scattered around the area as well as random equipment on the floor.
The Terraformer is arguably a bit more popular than the Divide, so if you’re planning on landing here – be ready for a bloody fight.
The Foundry
In the southwestern part of the map, you have the Foundry. The Foundry is a rather big area to cover, and, a pretty lucrative one at that.
Here’s a quick tip, if you’re planning on dropping here, have a Caustic on your team or a Seer. Caustic is great in close-quarters environments, and Seer is, well… Seer, he’s great for any occasion.
The Best Landing Spots on Storm Point
Prepare for intense competition upon touchdown at these coveted landing spots on Storm Point, where only the most skilled legends will prevail amidst the exhilarating clash for valuable resources.
Launch Pad
Out of the two launch pads on the map, the eastern one is objectively better than the northern one. As such, it’s almost guaranteed that players will land here if given the opportunity. This place is a Loba main heaven, as it has containers for days!
Lightning Rod
Lightning Rod is the most underrated spot on the map, but, unlike other games; underrated is a good thing in Apex Legends. What underrated means is that not a lot of players will go there, a real shame too as it has some of the best loot that you can pick up at the beginning. From there, it’s just a few quick and easy rotations down the mountain and you’re set!
The Mill
The Mill is probably the most contested area on Storm Point. The reason for that is that it often has the best loot at the start of the game. That’s the exact reason why many players decide to land at The Mill in the first place. The downside to landing at The Mill however is the fact that a minimum of 3 enemy squads probably have the same idea in mind.
The Best Landing Spots on World’s Edge
World’s Edge is abundant with loot everywhere, however, the following landing spots are definitely the best.
Big Maude
When it comes to good loot, Big Maude is the creme de la creme. Not only do you have an abundance of loot, but you also have Ramparts shop where you can buy fully kitted-out guns for a few materials.
And because of all of that… it is also the most highly contested area on the map. If you’re planning on dropping here, you better prey that only one other team drops here; as the usual number is always higher than that.
Lava Siphon
Right next door to Big Maude is Lava Siphon. If you’re playing on the mobile version of Apex Legends, you’d probably know this place by its old name – Sorting Factory.
Regardless of what you call it, this place has always been the best landing spot in Apex Legends, as it gives you a lot of loot to rummage through. The only downside to it is that it’s pretty open, so you’re going to have to do a lot of running around.
Staging
Staging is probably my favorite place to drop on the entire map. I admit, I might be a bit superstitious about it, but every time I drop at Staging, my team usually ends up as champions; or in the top 3 at least.
The position of Staging is also pretty nice, not only does it have pretty nice loot, but it’s a hop and a throw away from Thermal Station and Harvester, two more areas that usually have amazing loot in them.
