You’re probably surprised to find a Muscle car at the top of our list, instead of something like a Supercar. However, whilst the BF Weevil tops out at a meager 102.0 mph, its astonishing custom variant manages a staggering 137.0 mph!
You’ll need to first purchase the standard BF Weevil for then head over to Benny’s Original Motor Works to convert the BF Weevil to the BF Weevil Custom. However, the total price of $1,850,000 is a bargain for obtaining the fastest car in GTA 5 Online.
Additionally, you’ll want to purchase the Race Brakes, EMS Upgrade Level 4, Mega Zoomies exhaust, Race Transmission, and Turbo Tuning. This will bring the Weevil’s total cost to $2,027,600. However, this is more than worth it considering it’ll allow the vehicle to hit its maximum speed of 137.0 mph.
Ocelot Pariah

You’ll need to access Legendary Motorsports through the in-game phone to purchase the Pariah for $1,420,000. Then head to Los Santos Customs to customize it however you see fit.
Overflod Entity XXR

The Overflod Entity XXR was added to the Online Mode as part of the Executives and Other Criminals update. And we have to say this definitely has that executive style, with a criminally fast engine. The Entity XXR can reach a maximum speed of 131.00 mph once fully upgraded.
Based on the real Koenigsegg One I, the Entity XXR is purchasable from Legendary Motorsports for $2,305,000 and customizable at Los Santos Customs. The Entity XXR features a modern and refined aesthetic and great handling.
Grotti Cheetah
Type: Sports Car

The Gotti Cheetah is a Grand Theft Auto series classic, having appeared in multiple additions to the franchise. Being the third-fastest car on this list, it is only a fraction shy of the speeds of the Entity XXR and the Pariah. Once fully upgraded the Cheetah can reach a maximum speed of 130.0 mph.
Originally based on the real Ferrari Enzo, the Cheetah only costs $650,000 from Legendary Motorsports and $279,500 to fully upgrade. So for less than $1,000,000 ($929,500), you’ll have access to a tried and true classic GTA Sports car that reaches impressive speeds, especially for its price.
Grotti X80 Proto

Based on the real Ferrari F80 Concept, the X80 can be purchased from Legendary Motorsports for $2,700,000, and fully upgraded for an additional $299,450 at Los Santos Customs. The total cost of $2,999,450 makes it an exceptionally expensive vehicle for the speed.
Grotti Turismo R

It will cost $277,200 to fully upgrade the Turismo R, bringing its total cost to $777,200.
Dewbauchee Vagner

The 811, originally based on the Porsche 918 Hypercar, can be purchased from Legendary Motorsports, and fully upgraded at Los Santos Customs for $302,000.
You’ll need to fully upgrade the engine, transmission, suspension, and breaks, and turbo-tune the engine to take advantage of the 811’s speed.
Progen GP1

Originally added in the 1.38 Special Vehicle Circuit update in 2017, this supercar will surprise you with its quick acceleration and powerful V12 engine, which allows it to reach 124.0 mph.
The Progen GP1, designed after the McLaren F1, can be purchased from Legendary Motorsports for $1,260,000. To fully benefit from this vehicle’s attributes, you’ll need to purchase the Race Brakes for $35,000, the EMS Engine Level 4 for $33,500, Race Transmission for $40,000, and the Turbo Tuning for $50,000.
Progen Tyrus

Pegassi Zentorno

Costing an initial $725,000, this is an amazingly priced Supercar based on the Lamborghini Veneno. For an additional $302,500 you can fully upgrade the Zentorno at Los Santos Customs. Additionally, whilst the Zentorno lacks competitive high speeds like the previous vehicles, capping out at 122.0 mph with full upgrades, its cornering speeds are sharp and reliable.
Comet SR

The Pfister Comet SR was added to GTA Online as part of the 1.42 Doomsday Heist and is an impressive little sports car. The SR is one of the fastest Sports cars available in GTA Online.
The Comet SR is based on the Porsche 997 GT2 RS and can be purchased at Legendary Motorsports for $1,145,000. Once purchased head over to Los Santos Customs to fully upgrade the SR, this will cost an additional $327,550 but is well worth it. Considering, that you’ll take this car from a top speed of 97.87 mph to 122.0 mph.
Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X Exclusive Bonus Vehicles
With the release of the Expanded & Enhanced Edition of GTA V for the PS5 and Xbox Series X and S on March 15, 2022, came the addition of several next-gen console exclusive vehicles, and more importantly the exclusive HSW Performance Upgrades. As these upgrades provide a staggering speed boost to vehicles in the next-gen version of the game, we thought they deserved a list of their own.

HSW Declasse Vigero ZX

It’s fair to say that Rockstar games have shown Muscle Cars a lot of love recently. Perhaps Supercars aren’t all that super after all!
The stock Vigero ZX, which is based on the Chevrolet Camaro Gen VI, only manages a maximum of 125.0 mph, which as we’ve seen isn’t all that special. However, with the amazing new HSW improvements (PS5/ Xbox S/X only), the Vigero ZX reaches a top speed of 157.50 mph, something no other car can do across any of the platforms.
First, you’ll have to purchase the Vigero ZX from Souther S.A. Super Autos. After purchasing the HSW Upgrade for $550,000 you’ll have access to these upgrades:

HSW Benefactor Stirling GT

The Benefactor Stirling GT was originally added as part of the 1.27 Ill-Gotten Gains Part 1 update back in 2015. However, since the release of GTA V’s PS5/Xbox Series remastered edition, the Stirling GT now benefits from HSW Performance Upgrades. This beautiful car is based primarily on the Mercedes-Benz 300SL.
You’ll need to purchase the stock Stirling GT as usual from Legendary Motorsports. However, now you’ll be able to head over to Los Santos Customs to purchase the HSW conversion for $900,000. Once this is done, you can proceed to purchase the various HSW upgrades listed previously.
The HSW Stirling GT will cost you a total of $1,875,000. This is an amazing price considering the monstrous speeds that it’ll give you. Only a fully HSW-upgraded Vigero ZX will stand a chance at competing against you in any of the Online Races.
Karin S95
Type: Sports Car

The S95 is the fastest exclusive vehicle in GTA V Online that has been released thus far for the Expanded & Enhanced Edition. Whilst its base speed of 115.50 mph is nothing to write home about, once upgraded this beast can reach top speeds of 155.50 mph!
The S95 is based on the Toyota GT86. It can be purchased from Southern S.A. Super Autos for $1,995,000 but is completely free for players with an existing old-gen version of the game (PS4/Xbox One). However, you will need to head over to Los Santos Customs to purchase the HSW Performance Upgrade for $525,000 (Total cost of $2,520,000).
Bravado Banshee
Type: Sports Car

The Bravado Banshee has appeared in Grand Theft Auto IV, Grand Theft Auto III, GTA Vice City and Liberty City Stories, and GTA San Andreas. The Deveste Eight was based on the Devel Sixteen and Mazda Furai, and is definitely one of the most interesting-looking vehicles on this list, with a front heavy body, and a beak-like nose. However, this is what makes the Deveste Eight an attractive choice.
It can be purchased for $1,795,000 from Legendary Motorsports, and customized at Los Santos Customs, with the HSW Conversion costing an incredible $1,110,000. Coming in at $2,905,000, the Deveste Eight is the most expensive HSW vehicle featured on this list.
