Godfall is the ‘loot-slasher’ type of action role-playing game developed by Counterplay Games. The gameplay in this high fantasy title is heavily focused on loot gathering. There is, however, an option to redeem ‘SHiFT’ codes in the pause menu. When released, these will provide shortcuts to all that looting in the form of in-game giveaways. Here is some information on how to redeem Godfall Shift codes and what they are.
What are Shift Codes?
Since Godfall was published by Gearbox, many are unsurprised it sees the return of their ‘SHiFT’ reward system. Following Gearbox on social media and online video platforms will grant access to occasional Shift code giveaways. The codes themselves come in the form of alphanumeric codes, usually twenty-five characters long.
How to Redeem Godfall Shift Codes
The first step is to create a Shift account. This can either be done online in a browser or in Godfall. Online is easiest for first-time users. Just visit Shift.GearboxSoftware.com and either sign up or login. Be sure to link your Epic account in order to redeem Shift codes on PC.
Shift codes are supplied via email. Once you have one, copy it and paste in the ‘rewards’ menu option on the website.
If you’d prefer to enter the code during a session of Godfall, start a game and press pause. The option to redeem a Shift code is located directly below settings. Just select the option and paste your code here to redeem it.
Shift codes for previous Gearbox games have always expired quickly, urging players to act fast for rewards. Gearbox famously used their same reward system in Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, and Borderlands 3. Rewards given via the Shift codes come in the form of in-game cosmetic items, skins and upgrades.
What will Godfall Shift Codes Reward Players With?
Gearbox have not yet released any Shift codes for Godfall. Fans of their previous games believe the rewards will be in line with rewards for past games such as Borderlands 3. This would mean redeeming the codes could reward you with crafting materials, Valorplate skins and mods. There may also be more generous rewards for items that aren’t already farmable.
To make sure you don’t miss the release of these Shift codes, follow Gearbox Software on social media. The first codes are suspected to come out in a few days.
