Elden Ring: How to Summon Torrent
Summoning Torrent is easier said than done if you don’t know what to do. Since the game doesn’t outright state what you need to do to get the special item required, many new players can skip this step completely. So, worry not because we will show you what you have to do.
Talk to Melina
The first thing you need to do when playing the game is to activate all Sites of Grace that you see. Once you reach the Gatefront site, you should rest at it to trigger a short cutscene. On top of that, you can also gallop around the map and traverse it quickly. Plus, Torrent can tank a bit of damage for you as well. He has his own HP pool which can save you from taking fatal damage. However, if he takes too much damage, you will fall off Torrent.
Then, you’ll have to use your Flask to summon Torrent again. This can be quite problematic as you might be in the middle of a fight and this can leave you vulnerable. So, make sure that you protect Torrent and if you are taking a lot of damage, dismount him immediately by jumping off of him.
