Immortals of Aveum’s gameplay reveal paints a technically impressive game developed on Unreal Engine 5.1, and it’s already up for pre-order. The title is headed to PC and current-generation consoles and will have a lot of modern UE5 features like lumen, nanite, and world partition. In addition to the gameplay reveal, the developers have also shared the official Immortals of Aveum System Requirements.

The developers are pretty open about their technology and have shared a lot of technical details on Steam. These minimum requirements target 1080p with 60 FPS in mind and Low-Medium settings, and for that, you’ll need something like an RTX 2080 Super paired with a Ryzen 7 3700X.
This is a pretty demanding title, and if you’re looking to play at 1440p, with medium-high settings in mind, you’ll need an RTX 3080Ti with 12 GB of VRAM paired with a Ryzen 7 5700X.
Apart from that, you need a total of 110 GB to install the game, and an SSD is highly recommended with 16 GB of RAM.

This is ridiculous. Why would you target a resolution that has been slowly phased out for years and then push the engine to such an extreme that you can’t even configure it to be halfway decent at a reasonable resolution?
What’s the point in flashy effects if rendered at 1/4 the size it should be for any modern display?
I feel like this will be a trend for many upcoming UE5 titles. Here’s hoping they implement DLSS and FSR 2.0, so at least we have something. My 3060 feels outdated lol
