Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction is an upcoming tactical shooter from Ubisoft. It features characters from the highly popular multiplayer shooter, Rainbow Six Siege, and introduces a PvE element to the franchise. The title was originally called Quarantine, but given the state of the world, we knew that wasn’t going to stay for long. It was changed to Extraction near the proper reveal, and the title is slated to come out next year and is available for pre-purchase.
Is Rainbow Six Extraction Cross Platform?
Rainbow Six Extraction does indeed support cross platform play. The title is coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox Series S|X, Xbox One, and PC, through Epic and Ubisoft Store. This is a great feature and something that makes a lot of sense for a PvE title. Players can’t complain about having an advantage over each other, as they’re both fighting the same threat.
There are 18 operators at the moment, and over 12 large-scale maps. The developers have promised free post-launch content as well. We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us, and what longtime fans feel about it.
