Kao the Kangaroo is an upcoming 3D Platformer from Tate Multimedia. This is a new adventure in the series that started back in 2000. The last entry came out in 2005, so it’s nice to see the series being revived with a new title after so long. Kao the Kangaroo is headed to multiple platforms including PC. With only a few days from release, here are the Kao the Kangaroo System Requirements.
Kao the Kangaroo System Requirements
To play the game on PC, you need the following specifications.
Kao the Kangaroo Minimum Requirements
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Win 10 or newer
- Processor: i5 3300 3,20 GHz 4 cores/4 threads
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: GeForce GTX 760 2 GB
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 9 GB available space
Even though the game is coming out in a few days, we still only have the minimum requirements. Hopefully, these are updated soon, and we’ll update this page as well.
For now, based on these, Kao the Kangaroo isn’t exactly a demanding game. Even on the lower end, you only need something like a GTX 760, which has just 2 GB of VRAM. Even if we were to double that for the supposed recommended requirements, you’re probably looking at something like an RX 460 or RX 470, with 4 GB of VRAM.
Apart from that, you need something like an i5 3300, which is a fairly old CPU to play at minimum settings. The total size of the game is 9 GB, and you’ll need 8 GB of RAM to play it. Despite the lower requirements, we recommend users to upgrade to 16GB either way, as most modern PC titles require that much.
