We covered the details of this rumor earlier, but now a proper name has been given to the public thanks to Tom Henderson.
Modern Warfare 3 Is the 2023 Call of Duty Title
While a lot of the details reported by insider-gaming repeat his previous report for the 2023 Call of Duty entry, one new aspect is how the zombie’s mode will be akin to Warzone 2.0, and Activision in deliberating if the title should be a premium or free-to-play add-on to the game.
Originally, the plan was to support Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 for 2 years with premium content, but Activision has had a change of heart and is now putting out a full release title instead which will mean support for Modern Warfare 2 will be cut short much sooner, but support for Warzone 2.0 will keep coming.
