The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is one of the most celebrated games of the past decade, and one of the best RPGs of all time. It came out in 2015 and won tons of awards from multiple outlets, and is still regarded as a masterpiece by many. Multiple expansions were launched for the game, and the title made its way to the Nintendo Switch as well. Now, The Witcher 3 for PS5 and Xbox Series consoles has been rated in Europe.

PEGI, the European board of rating video games has an entry for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Game Of The Year Edition, with PS5, Xbox Series X|S as the platforms mentioned, alongside previous platforms like PC, and the Nintendo Switch. The release date mentioned is 19th October 2021, which is today. So, either we’re getting a shadow drop, or this is a placeholder release date. There’s a pretty good chance that we’ll get it today though. It will be interesting if there’s an update planned for the PC version as well.

The updated artwork is for the next-gen versions. We are very excited to see what graphical updates they will bring to the already beautiful title. There are some free new DLCs in the game too, based on the Netflix TV series of the Witcher novels. Hopefully, CDPR will announce the new version soon.
