Thymesia is an upcoming action RPG from OverBorder Studio and Team17. It’s a Soulslike and seems heavily inspired by Bloodborne when it comes to visuals and combat design. It looks very promising, and everything we have seen so far indicates that there are enough new ideas to make it stand out. The title was originally coming out last year, but given the state of the world, and how it has impacted the gaming industry, we aren’t surprised that it was pushed to 2022. Now, the Thymesia System Requirements have been officially revealed through Steam.
The game introduced a plague system where you can steal diseases from foes, and use those on your weapons to inflict damage. The title has been confirmed for PC through Steam, and GOG. It is also coming to consoles including PS5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. We are excited to see more details as we hear about a new release date.
Thymesia System Requirements
To play the game on PC, you need the following specifications
Thymesia Minimum Requirements
- OS: Windows 7/10 (64 Bit)
- Processor: Intel Core i5
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 1660
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 16 GB available space
Thymesia Recommended Requirements
- OS: Windows 7/10 (64 Bit)
- Processor: Intel Core i7
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA RTX 2060
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 16 GB available space
The requirements aren’t exactly detailed, but give us a decent idea of what to expect. These requirements only mention Intel and NVIDIA hardware, but to play at higher settings, you need a decent i7 paired with something like an RTX 2060. Compared to most titles, this is on the higher end, and given how this isn’t coming to last-gen consoles, this might end up being a fairly demanding title.
The minimum requirements list the TX 1660 though, so we hope there are enough options for players to customize and play the game on a variety of systems.
Though, we do hope that more detailed requirements, especially aimed at AMD users are revealed soon though.
While you are here, make sure to check out the requirements for other upcoming titles including FAR Changing Tides, GRID Legends, and Dying Light 2.
