I try to unlock the Gold and Platinum camo as quickly as I can whenever a new COD comes out. And I’ve done the same for this year’s COD as well. In an effort to make the Mastery camo grind easier for my readers, I’ve created a quick and easy guide that explains how you can unlock the Platinum camo in Modern Warfare 3.
Unlocking the Platinum Camo
Once you’ve unlocked the Gold camo in MW 3, the next step in the mastery camo grind is to unlock the Platinum camo. To unlock the Platinum camo in Modern Warfare 3, you need to complete the following steps:
- Unlock the 4 base camos for the weapon you want the Platinum camo for.
- Unlock and complete a certain number of Gold camo challenges for that weapon category.
For example, to unlock the Platinum camo for an SMG, you have to unlock the Gold camo for 6 SMGs. - Once the required Gold camos are unlocked for that category, you can complete the Platinum camo challenge for a specific weapon and unlock the Platinum camo.
Please note that you will have to complete each weapon’s Platinum challenge separately to unlock the Platinum camo for it. And that’s how you get your hands on the Platinum mastery camo in Modern Warfare 3.
