Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is From Software returning to one of their more forgotten IPs after more than a decade. The title touts a flurry of new features that will make new and returning fans excited for the return of the IP once more, and the latest story trailer gives us a look at the war being fought and the people fighting it.

The new story trailer gives us a look at Pilot C4-621, the protagonist of the title. We already talked about the story for the game previously, but the latest story trailer shows us all of the sacrifices made by the pilots before 621. The trailer is dark, and gritty, and shows the true sacrifices made for war efforts.
In its typical From Software style of storytelling, we learn about a world embroiled in chaos and overlooking how fragile life is on the planet Rubicon 3. This is one of the few times we will see the developers take on a brand new setting after a very long time and fans are excited to see how the mech title will compare to its predecessors, particularly since the more recent works of From Software.
