Having the right piece of armor can be the difference between life and death, and when it comes to armor, the following piece of equipment can be considered the best armor in BattleBit Remastered.
All things considered, the armor in BattleBit is quite peculiar. It isn’t as straightforward as the guns. With something like an Assault Rifle, it’s easy. You can just pick it up, modify it to your liking, and run with it. With armor, it’s not so easy.
How Does Armor Work in BattleBit Remastered?
Armor is a pseudo-mystical stat for most BattleBit players. Some claim that it’s utterly useless because of the game’s low time-to-kill, while others claim that it’s one of the best things in the game.
The reason I say it’s pseudo-mystical is that, oftentimes, it tends to be quite random and unpredictable. However. Because BattleBit has a “semi-realistic” physics engine, it tries to mimic how armor functions in real life.
What this means in effect is: A. Armor doesn’t completely prevent damage from passing through. and B. Whenever you get hit, the quality of your armor diminishes. That’s why you can still die, even if you’re wearing the best armor in BattleBit Remastered.
Who Has the Best Armor in BattleBit Remastered?
Objectively, the class that has the best armor in BattleBit Remastered is the Support class. What it lacks in weapon variety, it more than makes up in armor variety. Some notable pieces include:
Support Exo Helmet
The Support Exo Helmet, also known as the 00 A Exo is objectively the best helmet in the game. Not only does it give you the highest Durability out of all the helmets, but it also completely covers your face.
There is no reason why you shouldn’t be wearing this helmet at all times. Even the Best Sniper Rifles in BattleBit Remastered can’t one-shot you as long as you’re wearing the Exo Helmet.
Patreon Backer Helmets
The Patreon Backer helmets are probably the coolest-looking pieces of equipment in the game. One makes you look like an Uruk-Hai straight out of the Lord of the Rings, and the other makes you look like a future soldier.
Stats-wise, they’re exactly the same as the Exo Helmet. The only reason they’re technically “worse” than the Exo is because they cost real money, which is a shame.
Exo Helmet w/Raised Visor
The 01A Exo is quite literally the 00A Exo but with the visor raised instead. Other than that, it has the exact same stats as the 00A. However. By raising the visor, it removes the helmet’s best feature.
What’s worse, you have to be Rank 120 to unlock this helmet. Imagine spending all that time Leveling Up in BattleBit, only to get this at the end. What a total letdown.
The Support Exo Armor
Again, the Support class takes the cake here, as its 00A Exo Chest Rig is the best armor in BattleBit Remastered. Whenever you’re wearing this thing, you practically become a walking bunker.
Don’t let that get into your head, though. This suit covers your torso and your shoulders. It does not cover your arms and legs, however, which are your greatest weak points.
How to Get the Best Armor in BattleBit Remastered
To acquire the best armor in BattleBit Remastered you don’t really need to do much. All you have to do is to go into the Character customization tab and play around with the equipment a little bit.
You get access to most of these armors as soon as you get into the game. Most players simply tend to avoid the Character customization tab or are ignorant of its existence. And yet, by being just a little bit more attentive, you can increase your survivability exponentially.
