One of the biggest surprises of Steam Next Fest is a survival title from CampFire Studio, called Soulmask. It has an incredibly meaty demo that has over 40 hours of content available to try out. It’s launching this year, and here are the official Soulmask system requirements.
Soulmask System Requirements
Minimum | Recommended | |
---|---|---|
OS | Windows 10 – 64 Bit | Windows 10/11 – 64 Bit |
Processor | Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 3 3300X | Intel Core i7-9700 / AMD Ryzen 7 3700X |
RAM | 12 GB | 24 GB |
GPU | GTX 970 4GB / AMD RX 580 4GB | GTX 2060 / AMD 6600XT |
DirectX | Version 12 | Version 12 |
Storage | 25 GB | 25 GB |
Network | Broadband Internet connection | Broadband Internet connection |
The requirements don’t mention target framerate or resolution, but thankfully the demo should give you a good idea of what to expect. If you want to play at higher settings, you’ll need something like an i7-9700 paired with a GTX 2060. If you’re fine with turning down some settings though, you can even play it on a GTX 970 paired with a Ryzen 3 3300X.
It’s clear that the game requires a powerful CPU regardless. Apart from that, you need a total of 25 GB to install the game, and 24 GB is recommended.
