It seems that the Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning Trophy List has finally emerged, so avid trophy hunters looking to purchase the game for the purpose of getting the platinum again can see if they will be able to do it one more time.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning Trophy List – A second chance
Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning was leaked a few months ago via the Microsoft Store and has since then been scheduled for release for September 8th.
The trophy list appears to have a lot of the original trophies, making this a familiar trip for many.
While the game is a remaster of the 2012 original, many fans are hoping that a good enough reception of the game can encourage THQ Nordic to green light a sequel.
While the development of this game has a very complex history, one that almost lead to a state getting bankrupt, we can hope that the future of the series won’t end with this remaster.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning was released back in 2012 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC and was a critical and commercial hit, but unfortunately the massive development budget of the game failed to garner favorable returns and Big Huge games had to shutdown.
THQ Nordic has been on a revival spree with games like SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated & Destroy All Humans! released a few weeks ago.
The company seems to be on a nostalgia trip and is making a lot of fan favorites come to the modern and HD era.
September is a packed month for gaming with games like Tony Hawk 1 + 2 remastered, Mafia Definitive Edition, and many other big titles coming in the month.
While a remaster doesn’t necessarily mean THQ Nordic has a sequel planned, but there was a report earlier this year where there was interest in slowly reviving the IP.
There are many people who would enjoy watching the series return, but we will have to see what lies in the future of this entry.
