GRID Legends is an upcoming racing video game from Codemasters and Electronic Arts. It is the latest entry in the long-running Grid series and is scheduled to come out next month. This is a cross-generation title coming out on a variety of platforms, including PC via Steam, and Origin. Codemasters was recently aquired by Electronic Arts, and there are plenty of series that will now be published by EA. With its Steam, and Origin pages up, the GRID Legends System Requirements have been officially revealed as well.
This is the fifth entry in the series, which began back in 2008. Codemasters usually has one title from each of their series release every year, and they are one of the top studios when it comes to racing titles. Their last title, Dirt 5 came out back in 2020, and was receieved positively from critics, and fans alike.’

To play the game on PC, you need the following specifications

- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 950, AMD RADEON RX 460

- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 50 GB available space
- Sound Card: DirectX Compatible Soundcard
GRID Legends Recommended Requirements
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: 64-bit Windows 10/11
- Processor: Intel i5 8600k, AMD Ryzen 5 2600x
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1080, AMD RX 590
- DirectX: Version 12
- Network: Broadband Internet connection
- Storage: 50 GB available space
- Sound Card: DirectX Compatible Soundcard
The title isn’t too demanding, but requires something like an RX 590 paired with a Ryzen 5 2600x. This means that to play the game at higher settings you need a decent GPU, as well as CPU.
Modern PC titles are fairly demanding, and 8 GB of RAM simply doesn’t cut it. You will need 16 GB of RAM to really push the visuals, and get decent performance. GRID Legends needs a total of 50 GB of disk space, which is inline with other newer PC titles.
The requirements don’t mention Windows 7, so we will have to see if it supports that OS at launch.

The game is coming to PC via Steam and Origin on 25th February 2022. It is also coming to Xbox Series S|X, Xbox One, PS4, and PS5. Interested fans can now pre-order it as well.
