Hogwarts Legacy is a game that is notorious for having a very mixed reputation. The game has only had 2 trailers so far. One of them was a leaked trailer, and the other is the official reveal trailer from Warner Bros. Since then, there have been no major updates with regards to development, release date, or any other way to make sure the game is releasing in 2022, and with rumors suggesting that the game could see a delay into 2023, the official Brazil Twitter account may have just given a sign.
Hogwarts Legacy 2022 Release Date – Myth or fact?
Hogwarts Legacy is touted as being an open-world RPG that takes place in the 1800’s and will take place in the magical world of Harry Potter. Albeit we have yet to see any form of gameplay or content from the developers as of yet, the only news we have been hearing about the game in the past are reports of troubled development and potential delays.
However, Warner Bros. Brazil account tweeted out a thread of games to look forward to in 2022 which includes Hogwarts Legacy.
While this is by no means confirmation and can still change depending on current events particularly due to COVID, it’s worth mentioning that so far Warner Bros. has yet to respond to rumors of the game getting delayed into 2023, or showing off any gameplay.
On top of this, Jeff Grubb has given a new rumor life that E3 2022 which is supposed to take place online this year will also be canceled. This could mean that Warner Bros will have to wait for another major gaming event to reveal the game’s details with E3 being the only major one this early in the year.
