The Callisto Protocol is an upcoming survival horror game from Striking Distance Studios and KRAFTON, Inc. The title is being directed by Glen Schofield who previously co-created the Dead Space series. Based on the footage shown so far, it’s clear that this feels like a spiritual successor to the excellent series, and looks absolutely horrifying. With the title up for pre-order on a few storefronts, we now have partial Callisto Protocol System Requirements.

To play the game on PC, you need the following specifications.

- OS: Windows 10/11
- Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen™ 5 2600
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon™ RX 580
- DirectX: Version 11
- Storage: 75 GB available space
Callisto Protocol Recommended Requirements
- Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
- OS: Windows 10/11
- Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-8700 or AMD Ryzen™ 5 3600
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon™ RX 5700
- DirectX: Version 12
- Storage: 75 GB available space
- Additional Notes: SSD recommended
The requirements revealed so far are clearly incomplete, and we will update these accordingly.
We won’t be shocked if these are radically updated near the release date, but for now, there isn’t much to gather from these. Even the CPU listed, the 5350 is pretty old at this point and came out back in 2014. The CPUs listed in the minimum requirements are more believable and include the i5-7500, and the Ryzen 3 1200.
You will also need 8 GB of RAM. We still urge PC users to upgrade to 16 GB for modern PC titles.

The Callisto Protocol Release Date
The Callisto Protocol is coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Series X on 2nd December 2022.
