A dataminer on Twitter who has a history of having their content DMCA’d by Activision, has leaked the Modern Warfare 2 Mission List. We see a bunch of new and returning names, and unfortunately, based on the description of one of them, we might see one of TF141’s most beloved members die for the 3rd time now.
Modern Warfare 2 Mission List
While the news comes from a relatively new account, their previous tweets have been hit with DCMA takedowns that contained images of weapons and maps from the recent beta, so it stands to reason that these missions could be real. However, we still encourage taking these with a grain of salt.
The mission list and details span several tweets, but the user u/The_Growlers on Reddit did a good job of compiling the tweets:

A lot of the names on the list also line up with Tom Henderson’s report of the mission names in the game, so take that as you may.
One of the missions you can see is called Strike, which places you in the shoes of Ghost, in Urzikstan. The details are very similar to the original Modern Warfare 2, and the recent Modern Warfare 2 Remaster mission – “Loose Ends“. A mission that is known for the infamous Shephard plot twist.
Keep in mind, the original 2019 title took a few minor creative liberties at changing some elements of the reboot when making the title again, so it is HIGHLY possible that they do not kill off Ghost for the 3rd time now.
