Valkyrie Elysium is an action RPG from SOLEIL and Square Enix. Last month, the latest entry in the Valkyrie series made its way to the PS4 and PS5 and is now available on PC for early-access users. The title was met with strong reception, and it’s nice to see Square Enix revive multiple series from their catalog that previously came out on consoles only. Multiple Square Enix games are now regularly released on PC, and plenty came out this year, including the recent Harvestella. Here are the Valkyrie Elysium System Requirements.

Compared to other recent releases from the publisher, Valkyrie Elysium is a bit demanding. It’s nice to see that the game supports both DLSS and FSR, which will give players tons of flexibility to get better performance at a lower cost of image quality.
If you’re targeting 1080p with 60 FPS at higher settings, you’ll need something like an RTX 2060 paired with a Ryzen 5 3500. You’ll also need to set DLSS or FSR to Quality to get 60 FPS according to the requirements.
I am a bit surprised by this because the RTX 2060 is a fairly capable GPU, and the footage and screenshots available for the game don’t exactly show a technically impressive title.
It’s possible that due to the style of gameplay, and combat, it might take more to maintain a steady framerate, hence the moderately higher requirements. You need 25 GB to install the game, and 16 GB of RAM is recommended.
The footage shown in this trailer, especially when viewed at 4K, shows a much sharper image.
