Stardew Valley’s exceptional game experience is deep-rooted in the unforgettable characters it has to offer. You’ll come across 30+ Villagers on your journey. Each of these NPCs will have its own stories and interactions to share. In that perspective, Haley in Stardew Valley is one of the most spoiled characters you’ll encounter!

Following up on each Villager’s story is an essential tip you need to follow. However, this can quickly become quite challenging, considering the significant number of characters in the game!

There’s no need for you to worry, though; today, I’ll be helping you understand everything there is to know about the blonde-haired majesty of Stardew Valley – Haley!

Background

Haley Standing On a Bridge (South of Pelican Town)

Haley can become very obnoxious very quickly. The character is a perfect example of a spoiled brat who’s seen wealth and been popular their whole life. She lives with Emily, her sister, at “2 Willow Lane” in Pelican Town. This makes her Sam’s neighbor; however, they hardly ever interact.

Although both her parents are alive and well, they’re rarely mentioned in the game. All that’s known is that they’ve constantly been traveling the world for the past two years. As a result, Haley and Emily live alone in their house and look after it. Nevertheless, neither Haley nor Emily seems too worried about their parents.

Aside from family, Haley considers Alex to be a close friend and can be seen spending time with him on multiple occasions. Her birthday falls on the 14th of Spring, and she has her annual clinic checkup on the 9th of Winter. Like Shane and Elliott, Haley is included in the twelve marriage-eligible bachelors and bachelorettes of Stardew Valley.

Behavior

Haley's 10 Heart Dialogue Option

First impressions are not Haley’s thing. Right from the start, she comes off as a highly self-centered individual. After sharing a few dialogues with the character, it becomes apparent that she’s oblivious to the world around her. Saying that she only cares about herself and is pretty judgmental wouldn’t be too far-fetched!

Although Haley’s arrogance is indeed quite overwhelming at the start – it wouldn’t be fair to label the character as entirely that. There’s more to her personality – if you give her enough time to come around. Haley has one of the best character developments in Stardew Valley.

This becomes apparent at the 6+ level of friendship. She genuinely starts working on changing her mindset, and by the time you hit even higher levels of friendship, she seems like a new person altogether. Ignoring her obnoxiousness in the initial stages of friendship is entirely worth it when considering the individual she’ll eventually become!

Schedule

Standing in Haley's Bedroom

Haley’s daily schedule in Stardew Valley changes depending on particular events/festivals, in-game weather, and the current season. Following is a breakdown of her daily routine, including all special occasions and any deviations.

Summer

Following her regular schedule, Haley will wake up in the morning but stay inside her room till 10:30 am. She then exits the house and goes over to the Beach region. Here, she can be found standing idle at the area’s top-left corner. The character stays here till 1:30 pm before heading to Alex’s Ice Cream stand in Pelican Town.

Once the clock hits 5 pm, Haley heads back home and spends the next hour and twenty minutes roaming around. At 6:20 pm, she starts preparing dinner and heads into her bedroom precisely two hours later. Haley stays idle until 11 pm, after which she sleeps.

Spring

In the case of Spring in Stardew Valley, Haley wakes up early in the morning but stays inside her room till 9 am. At 11 am, she leaves her home and heads over to the Fountain next to Pelican Town’s Community Center building. The character will spend most of her day here, till 4:30 pm, before finally heading home. From 5:50 pm – 8:20 pm, Haley stays inside her kitchen area and prepares dinner.

Afterward, she heads into her bedroom and stays idle till 10:30 pm before finally going to sleep.

Winter

On regular Winter days, Haley stays in her room till noon before heading into the kitchen. She stays here for four hours and returns to her room once the clock hits 4. After waiting idly for three hours, the character moves to her living room. She’ll now stay here till 10 pm before returning to her room and going to bed.

On the 9th of Winter, Haley has her annual medical examination. Due to this, she follows an entirely different routine for the day. She leaves for Harvey’s Clinic at 11:30 am and heads into the waiting room. She then heads into the exam room after a while and gets free at 4 pm. The character then runs directly back home and spends the day inside.

On the 16th of Winter, the character has an entirely new routine owing to the universal Night Market event. On this day, Haley leaves her bedroom and moves into the kitchen at noon. After staying here for the next four and a half hours, she heads off to the Beach region to attend the Night Market. Haley spends the rest of her day here and returns home at midnight.

Fall

During the Fall season in Stardew Valley, Haley follows the same schedule for all scenarios as she did in the Spring (mentioned above)

After Marriage

Haley has one additional schedule that she follows on Mondays should you decide to marry her. On this day, the character wakes up at 6 and leaves the farmhouse at 9:30 am to visit her old home in Pelican Town. She then spends most of her day at “2 Willow Lane” and returns to the farmhouse once the clock hits 5 pm. Haley eventually goes to sleep at 10 pm.

Heart Events

Heart events are special interactions you can experience with each character after reaching a certain level of friendship. In Stardew Valley, Haley has a total of 6 heart events, each with its own set of requirements, that you can experience. An event becomes available each time you hit the two, four, six, eight, ten, and fourteen hearts friendship milestones with the character.
