Trine is a side-scrolling RPG series where the player commands a number of different classes in order to navigate and solve puzzles, defeat bosses, and more. The last entry for the series was released in 2019, and while the developers have been quiet about a sequel for a while now, a reliable leaker has named Trine 5 by its full title and has shed light on what the new entry could be called.
Trine 5 – It’s About Time
The leak comes from the reliable leaker, Billbil-kun who posted the leak on their personal Twitter handle.
The Trine series has always been remembered for its strong visual aesthetic that complements the class-based experience with it that also be played cooperatively to enrich the experience, and we do expect the same tradition to carry over in the latest entry that is to follow.
While a new entry for the series was to be expected, we still have no details regarding the platforms, release date, or when the title will be revealed. We will have to wait for further information to surface at a future date.
With us only at the start of the year, its difficult to say if the publishers plan on revealing the game sooner rather than later, but we can hope that it is the former.
